JAMES G. BAUGHMAN – CONSULTANT
James Baughman, an economic geologist and mining executive, is our President and responsible for assisting the CEO in creating, planning, implementing and integrating the strategic direction of the Company and as such shares with the CEO responsibilities for the company operations, marketing, strategy, financing, and creation of company culture. Mr. Baughman has over thirty years of progressive experience in advancing gold, silver, and base metal projects from grassroots to advanced stage projects. He has held senior positions (i.e., Chief Geologist, Chairman, President, Acting CFO, Chief Operating Officer) in both private and publicly-traded mining and mineral exploration companies during his 30-year industry career. Mr. Baughman was on the successful Greens Creek discovery team and has lead exploration and development projects throughout the Western Hemisphere. Mr. Baughman was CEO of High Plains Uranium that was sold for US $55 Million in 2006. Mr. Baughman is a registered member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, Exploration and a member of the Society of Economic Geologists. Mr. Baughman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1983 from the University of Wyoming and is a registered professional geologist (P. Geo) in the State of Wyoming. Mr. Baughman is a Registered Member of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) and a Qualified Person (QP) on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
ROBERT HEGGIE – CONSULTANT
Robert Heggie studied psychology and English on a full scholarship for bagpipes at Simon Fraser University. He completed his studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, (BCIT) becoming a Certified Engineering Technician with an emphasis in civil & structural engineering. His early career evolved into property management with responsibility for over 2,000,000 square feet of government buildings for one of British Columbia’s largest building companies. However, Robert found his true profession, retailing, when recruited to the Hudson Bay Company. Duringhis decade there his senior executive roles included Operations, Financial Services and Licensing. His specialty was the development of licensed departments or store in store programs. Using the skills and experiences gained to that point, Rob left Canada and founded HK Retail Concepts & Non-Traditional Retail, Inc. (NTR) consulting companies focused on third party programs with major retailers. NTR helps to execute its recommendations, assisting in ongoing implementation, working with companies such as Target, Bloomingdales, Wal-Mart, Hudson’s Bay, Costco, Macy’s, BJ’s, Sam’s Club, US Military Exchanges, Tim Hortons and many more. Robert also worked for John and James Cameron (Avatar fame) since 2012 for the Human Health Organization.
Next to family and business Roberts true passion is bagpiping. He was a champion competitor at an early age, individually and with pipe bands and became Pipe Major, instructor and NCO in the Cdn Army Reserves,Seaforth Highlanders, Staff Sgt in the Delta Police Pipe Band and was accredited by the Queens Piper.
HARRISON KORDESTANI – CONSULTANT
Harrison Kordestani is the Company’s in house attorney and compliance officer.
Harrison has run his own law firm for the last four years. The firm’s focus is mergers and acquisitions, active strategic planning, transactional and litigation management and corporate governance. Harrison has a wealth of experience having been Chief legal counsel for a number of Companies and is actively involved currently with a number of them. He is also Chief Compliance officer for another of his clients. Harrison has extensive experience in block chain, crypto currencies and correlated effects on Forex and data privacy.
Harrison got the BA at University of Southern California, Los Angeles and earned his law degree at California Western School of Law and Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in California and Maryland and is in the process of being admitted in DC and Texas.
